Hi, I am Kari Martinez, a Registered Dietitian (RD), the owner of BloomRD, an Integrative Nutrition practice based in Dunwoody, GA. My clients come to me wanting to get to the bottom of their health issues, which starts with a comprehensive, holistic assessment and uses evidence-based nutrition to help individuals create optimal health and “Bloom Into Their Healthiest Self”.
My primary specialty is overall gastrointestinal (GI) conditions such as IBS and GERD. I also work with clients who have autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis (RA), Hashimoto's, or psoriasis; stubborn weight issues; fibromyalgia; and other chronic inflammatory conditions in adults. My approach is simple, individualized, and practical to help people find the energy, balance, and joy in their lives.
I completed my Master of Science in Nutrition and Public Health at Columbia University/Teachers College, and then obtained licensure in dietetics.
I have worked in the private practice setting for over 4 years. Functional Nutrition became such a passion to me that I have since then received additional training at Oxford Biomedical to become a Certified LEAP® therapist (CLT), and pursuing my training in the field of Integrative and Functional Nutrition with Susan Allen’s Next Level Functional Nutrition. My dynamic combination of professional, personal, and educational experiences allows me to effectively meet people where they are, and help them reach their ultimate health goals with ease and tailored for each person.
On a personal side, I enjoy spending time with my daughter and husband whether it is cooking up something fresh from the local Farmers Market, getting out in nature, or traveling abroad on a new adventure. With the grace of GOD, I am GRATEFUL to be able to guide you in “feeding your roots” to “grow nutritiously and bloom” into your healthiest self!
